From the opening matches of the group stage, Vietnam's players demonstrated their determination to challenge for the championship, consistently defeating strong opponents to gain an early advantage. As the tournament progressed, the team delivered increasingly confident performances to reach the decisive rounds, cheered on by hundreds of spectators at My Dinh Athletics Palace in Hanoi.

In the finals, the competition reached another level as the remaining teams battled for the championship title. Representing Vietnam in the Mixed Doubles event, VN_Elina (Le Thi Hoai Phuong) and VN_Ngocquy (Nguyen Ngoc Quy) produced outstanding performances to claim the runner-up title, making a significant contribution to Vietnam's overall campaign.

At this year's tournament, the Indonesian publisher's representatives delivered an impressive campaign by winning the Men's Singles, Women's Singles and Mixed Doubles titles. Teams from Thailand and the Philippines also produced several high-quality performances, helping create one of the tournament's most competitive editions through to the final matches.

The moment Vietnam was announced as runner-up marked an emotional conclusion to the team's journey at Audition Grand Esports 2026. Beyond the podium finish, the result reflected months of preparation, technical improvement and the players' competitive spirit against some of Southeast Asia's most experienced opponents. Although they narrowly missed the championship, VTC Audition Vietnam proudly represented the country on the international stage.

Beyond the competition itself, Audition Grand Esports 2026 also earned praise for its well-organized event management, including the competition venue, technical systems, stage production and community activities. Large crowds gathered at My Dinh Athletics Palace throughout the two-day tournament, creating an energetic atmosphere with constant cheering and support for the competing teams.

Audition Grand Esports 2026 was one of the featured tournaments within the Esports Grand Championship 2026 (EGC 2026), an international esports event organized under the direction of the Vietnam Sports Authority. The competition brought together Audition publishers and representatives from Vietnam, China, Chinese Taipei, the Philippines and Thailand.

Vietnam's first time hosting an international Audition competition not only expanded opportunities for regional cooperation among Audition publishers but also marked another important milestone in the game's 20-year history in Vietnam.
