The Vietnam Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics (VIASM) and the French Research Institute for Development (IRD) have signed a science-technology cooperation agreement during French President Francois Hollande’s State visit from September 5-7. 



The Vietnamese team comes back from International Math Olympiad



The agreement, valid for four years since the signing date, aims to lay out a framework agenda for dialogues and information sharing, research and training supervision.

Both sides will establish labs to popularise research results and promote technology transfer. 

They will offer training and improve capacity building of researchers and students, introduce candidates to the international PhD course on modeling complex system offered by IRD and Paris 6 University. 

They will also join events to promote studies and raise donations regionally and globally.
