Public workers will enjoy four consecutive days off from August 31 to September 3 for the National Day (September 2) holiday, according to an announcement by the Ministry of Labour, War Invalids, and Social Affairs.
In 2024, laborers have a total of 17 days of annual leave including 11 days of public holidays and six days of weekends for which there are compensatory days off.
The New Year holiday 2024 will be longer this year as it falls over the weekend from December 31 to January 2 next year.
As Vietnam National Day (September 2) falls on a weekend this year, employees are entitled to four consecutive days off from September 1 to September 4.
