Vietnam received four titles at the ASEAN Football Federation Awards in Bali, Indonesia, on Saturday.

The Vietnam Football Federation with their successes through 2017 — the team entered the U20 World Cup event, the U16 squad reached the Asian championship’s quarter-finals and earned a berth in the last eight round of the World Futsal Cup -- was honoured as the Member Association of the Year.
Mai Duc Chung who led the national women’s team to victory in the fifth SEA Games was declared the Coach of the Year (women).
Eighteen-year-old Doan Van Hau who played for the U19, U20 and U22 squads in the same year was voted Young Player of the Year.
The Women’s Assistant Referee of the Year title went to Vietnamese Truong Thi Le Trinh.
Apart from the award, midfielder Nguyen Trong Hoang of FLC Thanh Hóa was selected in AFF’s Best XI of 2017.
The AFF also presented awards for the best referees (men and women), best coach (men), futsal player, national teams and best goal, among others.
