The pageant was officially announced in Ho Chi Minh City, with over 80 contestants from various countries and territories expected to participate.

According to the organizers, the competition seeks individuals who embody beauty, kindness, and intelligence. Mr. Vu Thai, head of the organizing committee, emphasized the long-term vision of the event: "The pageant aims to honor beauty while promoting social and community values in Vietnam, bringing Vietnamese culture and tourism closer to the international community."

Vietnam's cultural heritage will be integrated into the pageant's events, allowing contestants to experience and promote these aspects effectively. The winners will receive prizes totaling more than VND 3 billion, including a crown valued at over USD 10,000 adorned with green crystals to raise environmental awareness.

Doan Bao An and Truong Thi Thuy Trang will be Vietnam's representatives at the competition. The organizers hope to use the event to highlight Vietnam's unique cultural and tourism attractions, especially in Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai Province.

The competition will include various segments, such as Ao Dai performances, exploring cultural and tourist sites, national costumes, swimwear, and fashion contests. Throughout the pageant, media ambassadors will work with the contestants to spread the meaningful messages of the event to the public.

The grand finale of Miss & Mister Celebrity International 2024 will be held on the evening of September 27 in Dong Nai Province.
