A draw held in Bali on September 22 placed Vietnam in Group A with Indonesia, the Philippines and Brunei at the upcoming AFF Futsal HDBank Championship in HCM City.

Vietnam are in Group A of the AFF Futsal Championship after a draw in Bali

Group B has Thailand, Malaysia, Laos and East Timor.

The tournament is being held from October 26 to November 2. The two best teams from each group will advance to the semifinals.

The teams will also be the regional representatives at the Asian Futsal Championship in Chinese Taipei next February.
