Receiving special advisor to the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentary Alliance Tsutomo Takebe in Hanoi on February 22, Rua spoke highly of his guest’s dedication to furthering the friendship between Vietnam and Japan , and between the two groups in particular over the past 20 years.
He made it clear that the VJFPG backs activities of the Japan – Vietnam Friendship Parliamentary Alliance.
The host said he believes that with determination and passion, the two sides will open the Vietnam – Japan University (VJU) soon.
Takebe, for his part, expressed his wish to accelerate the VJU project.
He vowed to foster the friendship and cooperation between the two countries and legislatures, as well as exchanges between Vietnamese and Japanese lawmakers.
