Vietnamese men’s football team lost to Incheon United FC 1-2 in a friendly match on October 22 during their two-week intensive training course in the Republic of Korea.

The team had performance well in the first half with high a work rate and determination. Players of head coach Park Hang Seo conceded in the 45th minute after midfielder No 6 of Incheon United FC opened the scoring.

Forward Van Quyet helped equalize the score 1-1 in the 50th minute.

Coach Park Hang Seo made many changes in the second half by making several substitutions and playing a different formation to the first half.

Duong Thanh Hao made a big mistake in the 71st minute leading to a chance for Hiu Jin to take the score to 2-1 for the Korean team and the result was maintained until the end of the match.

The Vietnamese men’s football team will play Seoul FC on October 25 and Seoul E Land FC on October 29 in two friendly matches in the Republic of Korea (RoK).

The team is scheduled to return to Hanoi on October 30 and coach Park Hang Seo will drop 7 footballers after the training course in the RoK to select his official squad list of 23 players to compete in the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Suzuki Cup 2018 in November.
