Vietnam lost to Iran in the Asian Volleyball Confederation Cup for Women’s classification round yesterday in Vinh Phuc Province.

VN were defeated 25-19, 14-25, 30-32, 23-25 in a match in which they claimed the first set.

The two teams met for the second time in this tournament.

In the group round last week, VN won 27-25, 22-25, 21-25, 25-20, 15-12.

In the seventh-eighth place play-off today, the hosts will play South Korea who were defeated 20-25, 17-25, 18-25 by Chinese Taipei yesterday.
