The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) held a drawing ceremony of the preliminary qualification round for the 2018 AFC Women’s Asian Cup. 

21 teams are divided into four tables. The table A consists of six teams, and the rest three tables include five teams for each one. 

As result, the Vietnamese women football team is in table D along with Myanmar, Iran, Syria and Singapore.  

Matches for the preliminary qualification round are scheduled to take place from April 3- 11. 

Four leading teams of each table will qualify for the final round in Jordan from April 7- 22, 2018. 

At present, Jordan, Japan, Australia and China are named in the final round.
