As South Korea transitions into winter, the weather is cold despite sunny conditions. This was factored into the coaching staff’s plans to maximize the effectiveness of the training camp.

Morning Sessions: Focus on physical fitness, conducted on indoor artificial turf under a covered facility to adapt to the low temperatures.

Afternoon Sessions: Emphasis on tactical training on natural grass fields, located about a 15-minute bus ride from the hotel.

The Vietnamese team will play three friendly matches in South Korea against opponents of increasing difficulty to fine-tune their preparation:

Ulsan Citizen FC (K-League 3)
Daegu FC (K-League 1)
Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC (K-League 1)

Head coach Kim Sang Sik hopes these matches will serve as high-quality tests to refine the squad and their playing style ahead of the 2024 AFF Cup.
