On August 20, FPT Play announced its exclusive broadcasting rights in Vietnam for two major regional football tournaments: the 2024/25 Southeast Asia Club Championship and the 2024 ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Cup.

This exciting development ensures that Vietnamese football fans can enjoy live broadcasts of these prestigious competitions.

FPT Play’s exclusive broadcasting rights cover a wide range of platforms, including terrestrial, cable, satellite, IPTV, internet, mobile, public screenings, and social media.

The live broadcasts will commence on August 21 for the Southeast Asia Club Championship and December 9 for the highly anticipated AFF Cup.

The AFF Cup 2024, one of Southeast Asia's most eagerly awaited tournaments, will feature 10 teams and is scheduled to take place from December 9, 2024, to January 5, 2025.

The tournament will follow a round-robin format during the group stage, with each team playing two home and two away matches. Vietnam, placed in Group B, will compete against Laos, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Myanmar, as they vie for the championship title.

Meanwhile, the 2024/25 Southeast Asia Club Championship, which has just concluded its play-off round, will proceed to the group stage beginning on August 21.

Representing Vietnam will be the 2023 V-League champions CAHN and the 2023 National Cup champions Dong A Thanh Hoa.
