2025 marked another major step forward for Steven Nguyen as he appeared in a series of high-profile film projects: Red Rain – a historical epic that broke box office records with revenue exceeding 700 billion VND (approx. 28.8 million USD), where he delivered a deeply nuanced performance as an emotionally complex antagonist – as well as Stolen Happiness and The Trafficking Camp.

With his Actor of the Year win, Steven Nguyen proved he was more than deserving of the title.

Also at the Male Icon Awards 2025, Lan Ngoc was named Female Icon of the Year, in recognition of her outstanding contributions to cinema and television.

"This is a meaningful gift to close out a challenging year. This award marks a new milestone in my career," the actress shared.

2025 was a phenomenal year for Lan Ngoc, especially with her appearance in Running Man Vietnam Season 3, where she consistently ranked among the top 10 most beloved cast members and guests.

In addition to Ninh Duong Lan Ngoc, the Male Icon Awards 2025 also featured the presentation of several prestigious awards to outstanding artists.

Jun Pham, singer and actor, proudly received the title Male Icon of the Year, while singer Quang Vinh was honored with the title Global Voyager of the Decade.

RHYDER emerged with the Emerging Icon of the Year award, and artist Thanh Loc received the Lifetime Artist of the Year award in recognition of his profound contributions to Vietnamese arts.

In the music category, singer Quan A.P was named Entertainment Artist of the Year, while Quang Hung MasterD won Popular Artist of the Year, and Phap Kieu was honored with the title Rapper of the Year.

Singer Lohan was recognized as Fashion Singer of the Year, while Jaysonlei and Lam Anh both received Next Gen Artist of the Year in separate categories.

Phan Manh Quynh was awarded Singer & Songwriter of the Year, Duc Phuc won Best Inspiring Performance of the Year, Hua Kim Tuyen was named Music Director of the Year, and Tang Phuc received the award for Music Artist of the Year.

In the field of cinema and media, director Leon Quang Le received the award for Film Director of the Year, and Ninh Duong Story was honored as Content Creator of the Year.
