Vietnam’s futsal team has officially qualified for the 2026 AFC Futsal Championship finals after a commanding 4-0 win over Lebanon in the final group stage match. This victory marks the team’s third consecutive win in Group E, ensuring a flawless performance throughout the qualifiers.

Heading into the match, Vietnam already held a strong advantage with two earlier wins, six points, and a goal difference of +13, placing them at the top of the table. A draw would have been enough to secure the top spot, but coach Giustozzi’s squad exceeded expectations with another dominant display.

Right from kickoff, Vietnam pushed forward aggressively, while Lebanon took a defensive stance, playing tightly to protect their goal.

Vietnam opened the scoring in the 8th minute with a goal from Da Hai. Just one minute later, Manh Dung doubled the lead with a sharp finish that stunned the Lebanese side.

By the 11th minute, Tu Minh Quang extended the advantage to 3-0 after capitalizing on a precise assist from a teammate, slotting the ball into an open net.

In the second half, Lebanon switched to an all-out attack strategy, playing with urgency. Both teams exchanged chances in a thrilling back-and-forth, but Vietnam remained in control.

In the 25th minute, Vu Ngoc Anh rushed into the box to bury a rebound, bringing the score to 4-0. The scoreline remained unchanged until the final whistle, sealing a resounding victory.

With this result, Vietnam completed their group campaign with three dominant wins: 9-1 over Hong Kong (China), 7-2 against China, and now 4-0 against Lebanon.
