It will support the Prime Minister in setting out plans to implement the strategy, while proposing key tasks and issues that need inter-sectoral coordination.
The steering committee will also report to the Prime Minister on difficulties and problems arising in performing the strategy, as well as ask the Prime Minister to consider and devise solutions to those issues.
It aims to help the Prime Minister direct coordination among ministries and sectors in building and guiding the implementation of priority industrial development mechanisms and policies in the strategy, as well as urge ministries and sectors and People's Committees provinces and centrally-run cities to effectively perform the strategy.-VNA
