Of the PPP projects, the government is seeking opinions of ministries and agencies to determine investment capital of three sub-components (sections Mai Son - Highway 45, Highway 45 - Nghi Son and Dau Giay - Phan Thiet), and under the process of reviewing  the proposed investment capital of the remaining five (sections Nghi Son - Dien Chau, Dien Chau - Bai Vot, Nha Trang - Cam Lam, Cam Lam - Vinh Hao and Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet).

Once the feasible study report is approved, the MoT will open competitive bidding process to select consultants for technical design and financial estimation, which is scheduled to be completed in 11 months (from October 10, 2018 to August 2019).

Additionally, the process of selecting contractors should take a total of 11 months (from October 2018 to March 2020).

Meanwhile, the MoT expected the site clearance process to be completed by October 2020.

With regard to the three projects under public investment, the MoT has completed the approval process for two sub-components, including the Cao Bo - Mai Son and Cam Lo - La Son sections, while the My Thuan 2 bridge is in the final stage of approval.

It is expected that the Cao Bo - Mai Son and Cam Lo - La Son section will be implemented in April 2019 and completed in 2021. The construction of My Thuan 2 bridge will begin in October 2019 and completed by 2023.
