Vietnamese newcomers Sport Center I Women's Club have been drawn in Group B alongside Vakifbank club of Turkey and Dentil Praia Clube of Brazil.
Vakifbank have so far collected four world titles in 2013, 2017, 2018, and 2021, as well as recording a total of eight podium finishes, which means they have medaled every time in each tournament they participated in, including all editions of the tournament since 2016.
For Dentil Praia Clube a fourth place finish in 2018 was their best result so far.
Vietnam have qualified for the global tournament for the first time after winning the championship title at the 2023 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship, which concluded on May 2 in Vinh Phuc province.
The FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship consists of six clubs divided into two groups, with the top two teams in each group advancing to the semi-final stage.
Group A includes Tianjin of host nation China, Gerdau Minas of Brazil, and Eczacibasi Dynavit Istanbul of Turkey.
Group B sees the representatives of Vietnam, Turkey, and Brazil.
Sport Center I Women's Club of Vietnam will play Vakifbank club of Turkey on December 13 before facin Dentil Praia Clube of Brazil one day later.
