On August 18, the Department of Cybersecurity and High-Tech Crime Prevention (A05, Ministry of Public Security), in collaboration with the National Cybersecurity Association, will host the conference “KOLs in the era of national rise.”

The event will bring together more than 300 prominent Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) nationwide, creating a platform to connect influencers with regulators, businesses, and digital platforms.

The conference will feature open discussions where KOLs can share their journeys to becoming thought leaders, while engaging directly with government officials and industry executives to explore solutions for promoting positive influence and enhancing social responsibility in building a safe digital Vietnam.

Representatives from government agencies, major digital platforms like TikTok and Meta, and leading enterprises will also participate as speakers.

A key highlight will be the launch of the “Digital Trust Alliance,” uniting reputable KOLs/KOCs, businesses, media outlets, and platforms to spread positive values, guide public trust, and establish online standards.

The conference will also introduce the “Influencer Trust” program, an initiative to foster responsible influence through media campaigns. The program aims to develop ethical standards and codes of conduct for KOLs while establishing a system to assess and certify their credibility, transparency, and accountability.
