Vietnam entered their final Group D qualifier for the 2027 AFC U17 Women's Asian Cup in a commanding position, having collected six points with a goal difference of +26.
Kyrgyzstan also had six points but trailed Vietnam on goal difference, making the encounter a decisive contest for the group's qualifying place.
Although a draw would have been enough to send them through, head coach Okiyama Masahiko's side showed no intention of settling for a point.
The hosts pushed forward from the opening whistle and, after creating several opportunities, finally broke the deadlock in the 25th minute.
Ha Vy made a strong run down the left flank before delivering a low cross into the penalty area, where Huyen Trang finished from close range to put Vietnam 1-0 ahead.
With the advantage secured, the Vietnamese players continued to dictate the tempo, keeping possession and applying sustained pressure on the Kyrgyzstan defence.
Ha Vy was again at the heart of the action after the break.
In the 55th minute, the No. 19 timed her movement perfectly, rose above the defence and directed a well-placed header into the net to double Vietnam's lead.
Kyrgyzstan were unable to produce a comeback in the remaining minutes, allowing Vietnam to complete a convincing 2-0 victory.
The result gave Vietnam a perfect nine points from three qualifying matches, with an impressive 28 goals scored and none conceded.
The achievement secured their place at the 2027 AFC U17 Women's Asian Cup finals and underlined the team's dominance throughout Group D.
In recognition of the performance, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) awarded Okiyama and his players a bonus of approximately $19,300.
The reward provides another boost for the young squad as they turn their attention to preparing for the continental finals in 2027.
