Vietnam’s national U22 football team tied with China 1-1 in their first match in a friendly international tournament in Wuhan, China, yesterday.

Wang Jing Bin broke the offside trap of Vietnamese defenders to open the scoring for the hosts in the 20th minute.

In the 66th minute, Hoang Thanh Tung levelled the score for Vietnam.

After that, Vietnam had several chances to raise the score but failed.

Vietnam will face Mexico tomorrow and the United Arab Emirates on Sunday.
