The Vietnam-Ukraine Inter-Governmental Committee on Economic-Trade and Scientific-Technological Cooperation convened its 14th meeting in Kiev on October 10.

The two delegation heads sign the minutes of the Vietnam-Ukraine Inter-Governmental Committee on Economic-Trade and Scientific-Technological Cooperation's 14th meeting 



The Vietnamese delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Hoang Quoc Vuong, while the Ukrainian delegation was headed by First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Nefyodov Maksym.

The meeting was the committee’s first in five years, showing both sides’ determination to boost bilateral cooperation.

At this meeting, the two delegation heads informed each other of their country’s socio-economic situation and reviewed bilateral ties.

They agreed that both Vietnam and Ukraine need to be more active in using cooperation channels through their Inter-Governmental Committee’s mechanisms.

They stressed the need to step up delegation exchanges and information sharing, and to encourage enterprises to expand export markets and participate in investment projects in each country.
