On August 28, the exhibition “Achievements of Vietnam’s Banking Sector: Proud Past, Steady Present, Visionary Future” officially opened at the National Exhibition Center in Dong Anh, Hanoi. The event is part of the broader “National Achievements Exhibition,” held in celebration of the 80th anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
The banking sector’s exhibition space is divided into five thematic zones. The first zone, titled “The Party and State leadership with the banking sector,” highlights the special attention given by Vietnam’s top leadership to the industry. A sacred golden star emblem anchors the space, symbolizing national pride, aspirations for growth, and a deep-rooted belief in the country’s future.
A central feature is the section “Vietnamese currency - Affirming sovereignty, advancing national development,” which recounts the 80-year journey of the Vietnamese currency. It showcases how money has accompanied the nation through independence, development, and modernization, contributing to Vietnam’s socialist orientation and global integration.
