As per the government’s new decree taking effect on November 1, 2017, it bans the consumption of alcohol by people under 18 at licensed venues.

The new decree clear says that sales of liquors without permits is illegal.

Moreover, selling alcohol products containing banned materials or substandard products that fail to meet food safety or without clear indications of origin is illegal.

Additionally, ordering of alcoholic products online, by mail or telephone will also be governed under the new law.

The decree also bans advertising of alcohol.

Sale of alcohol to the public requires the seller to have a license.

It is illegal to manufacture without a permit; accordingly, households making wine to sell to company must register with local people’s committee.

Distributors must have stamp on alcohol products to distinguish between domestic manufactured and imported wine.
