VietNamNet Bridge - The following daughters and sons of billionaires were born in the year of the monkey.

In 2015, Nguyen Tran Thao Nguyen was a new face in the top five under-30 millionaires on Vietnamese stock market.

Nguyen, born in 1992, is the daughter of Nguyen Quang Hoa, vice president of Thien Nam Trade JSC (TNA). With 2 million TNA shares, Nguyen now has stock assets worth VND76.5 billion, an increase of VND23.5 trillion compared to 2014.

Nguyen is considered one of the most ‘secret’ millionaires in the stock market.

Being the third largest shareholder in Thien Nam, no information about millionaires appears in local newspapers, except information that she is the daughter of deputy chair of TNA.

Nguyen Ngoc My is the daughter of the president of Alphanam JSC.

Nguyen Ngoc My
My is famous in Vietnam for her talent, good appearance and large assets, and her meeting with David Beckham in 2014.

However, My’s name somewhat faded in 2015 partly because Alphanam shares were delisted in 2014; thus, changes in her stock assets could not be updated.

Unofficial sources showed that with 9.59 million Alphanam shares, My has VND32.6 billion.

Doan Quoc Khanh is quite a new face on the stock market. He is a member of Spilit (SPI), a mining company and the son of Do Thi Cam Thuy, president of the company.

He once held 2.703 million SPI shares and successfully sold 2 million shares in November 2015. The man born in 1992 now holds 703,000 SPI shares, or 4.18 percent of the company’s chartered capital. With the closing price of VND2.500 per share on February 5, Khanh’s stock asset is worth VND1.7 billion.

Le Diep Kieu Trang, born in 1980 in HCM City, is the daughter of Le Van Tri, former deputy CEO and member of the board of directors of Casumina, a tyre manufacturer.

However, Trang is famous not only because she was born into a businessman’s family, but also because of her impressive academic record.

Trang was the best student at Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted in HCM City. She obtained scholarships from prestigious Oxford University and MIT.

Trang is now the strategy director at Misfit Wearables, an IT firm specializing in making healthcare equipment. Before joining Misfit Wearables, she worked for McKinsey.

Tran Phuong Ngoc Thao is also famous not only because she is the daughter of the famous banker Tran Phuong Binh, vice president of Dong A Bank and the owner of the Phu Nhuan Jewelry Company (PNJ) Cao Ngoc Dung, but also because she is holding huge stock assets.
