The film was aired on June 8 to tell story about life and career of the professional attacker. “Gaining glory for Vietnam wasn't easy for Le Cong Vinh, whose passion for football has been in his soul since a young age”, the channel said.
In the reportage, Vinh shared his dream and passion for football and his family.
It started with Vinh recalling old days when he began learning football in his hometown in Nghe An province, a cradle of football in Vietnam, at a very young age.
He later told how he met his wife, singer Thuy Tien, and his turning point of life when he scored a winning goal that brought Vietnam the 2008 AFF Suzuki Cup championship.
“When you are a professional football player, you must train hard to become the best player you can be. When you play on the national team, you must train even harder to make the team proud, and more importantly to gain glory for your country,” he opened the film.
