VietNamNet Bridge - Just a few days after Pokemon Go was officially launched in Vietnam, the lives of many young people have changed.

Although it was released more than a month ago in many countries, Pokemon Go was only officially available in Vietnam on August 6.

Vietnamese youth were eagerly awaiting that day. Some could not wait so they used the hacked version on an Australian map. 

Once the game was available in Vietnam, young gamers immediately joined the race tracing Pokemon on the street. One can see many young people wondering on the road of Saigon and Hanoiwith a smartphone on their hand.

The craze for Pokemon Go has created odd scenes. If you go out on Hanoi streets at night to feel the quiet atmosphere of deserted streets and the cool wind of summer, you're see that young people now go to the street at night just to catch Pokemon.

HCM City police have warned that players of Pokemon Go would become victims of thievesif they are focusing on capturing Pokemon in public areas. 

On the night of August 8, in the city, a woman had her mobile phone snatched while roaming in Tao Dan Park to catch Pokemon. 

The thief was then arrested by a guard at the park and handed over to the District 1 Police for investigation. 

Pokemon Go was officially launched in Vietnam on August 6. The application, developed by Niantic Incorporation of Nintendo USA, has been well-received as over 75 million people have downloaded the game worldwide.
