Mr Kieu Huu Tho, an entrepreneur, says Senator McCain was a wonderful person, who provided the basis for the normalization of Vietnam-US relations and his death is a great loss. Ms Doan Thi Hai from Hang Ma ward, says she wants to show her mourning for the passing of Senator McCain. Ms Pham Minh Hai from Xuan La, Tay Ho district, says she was moved at the death of Senator McCain – an unyielding and decisive person who always struggled for peace.
