Vietnamese wunderkind pianist Luu Hong Quang will perform in MAESTOSO Piano Series No. 3: ÉVOLUTION at Hanoi Opera House on October 3.
Luu Hong Quang has won several prestigious awards in international piano competitions. He bagged the special prize at International Chopin Piano Competition in Asia in 2006, the first prize at the Lev Vlassenko Piano Competition in Australia in 2011 and the second prize at the third Euregio Piano Award Competition in Geilenkirchen, Germany in 2015. He is now the youngest lecturer at Academy of Music and Performing Arts (AMPA) in Australia.
The Piano Series No.3 - ÉVOLUTION concert marks the comeback of Luu Hong Quang in Vietnam after two years of absence. Hanoians will have the opportunity to enjoy masterpieces of Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Scriabine, Ravel, Liszt and the set of Five Bagatelles by Australian composer of contemporary classical music for the first time.
Quang will use the proceeds from the concert’s ticket sales to raise funds for students facing financial difficulties as part of the charity project launched by VTV24.
