The Binance Blockchain Week, held in Dubai recently, gathered project founders, technology experts and investment funds in the blockchain industry.
The event brought together blockchain industry influencers around the world, including Eljaboom, and speakers who are big names from investment funds, such as Robby Yung from Animoca Brands, the leaders of industry leaders like Monier Jalal (Certik), Lucian Todea (Elrond), Jamie Thomson (VulcanForged), Sandeep Nailwal (Polygon), Filipe Goncalves (Ankr), and community leaders like Colin Goltra from the largest gamefi community YGG and hundreds of game guilds from all over the world.
Vietnam, one of the countries that is developing strongly in the blockchain field, known for the leading Gamefi projects in the world today, with local Axie Infinity as a typical name, did not miss this event. Many investors from funds as well as representatives of blockchain projects in Vietnam were invited to the event.
The Vietnamese representatives such as Thetan Arena, Coin98, Elemon, etc. made a strong impression and were warmly welcomed by the game guilds, and the international blockchain developer community.
Speaking on the sidelines of the event, a representative of Coin98 Finance said: “Blockchain, crypto or DeFi are all in the finishing stage to serve the mass market. Each individual and organization participating in the market, besides finding profitable investments, has the responsibility to contribute to the development of the entire industry. Coin98 is proud to be one of the projects with Vietnamese nationality contributing to this new technology industry.”
Another representative from Vietnam, Nguyen Dinh Khanh, CEO of Thetan Arena, a blockchain game project that builds an e-sports model in the form of a MOBA game with more than 22 million users, said that Gamefi 1.0 has many major problems such as the lack of automated and decentralized experiences (DAO), too much focus on playing for money (Play-to-earn) but lacking entertainment experience that is at the core of the game, and NFTs. He believes that Gamefi 2.0 will overcome and improve these problems.
