Vietnamese startup cooperates with world-leading Blockchain

Poriverse – Vietnam’s metaverse game startup - has announced the establishment of a strategic partnership with Polygon Studios, a branch of Polygon (MATIC), one of the world's leading Blockchain platforms.

Built and developed since September 2021, Poriverse is a product completely made by Vietnamese experts, who have more than 15 years of experience in the field of game development and about eight years of experience in Blockchain research.

After the success of Axie Infinity, the “play to earn” gaming industry has grown strongly. However, this craze has posed new challenges for players due to the increasing initial investment.

The prices of game characters are pushed so high that many new players cannot afford to enter the market. In that context, Poriverse has come up with new ideas to solve this problem.

A special feature of Poriverse is that game players are allowed to rent or borrow NFTs (characters, in-game items) to join the game instead of having to spend a large amount of money to buy them.

Players will pay the fee to rent game characters and items at the negotiated price on the trading market. However, all revenue generated will go to them. All will be done through a public and transparent mechanism guaranteed by Blockchain technology.

This is the world's first Blockchain game with an NFT borrowing and borrowing mode.

Poriverse also offers a metaverse of gaming in which participants can create various worlds, design, own and trade with other gamers or developers.

According to Poriverse, the game has raised $600,000 from investors around the world. It is expected that the demo version of Poriverse will be released at the end of this month, right after the time of the IDO.

The establishment of a strategic partnership with Polygon Studios is considered a great success of Poriverse because it is an important part of Polygon (the world’s 16th Blockchain platform in terms of market capitalization with 12 billion USD).

The Polygon Studios ecosystem includes many popular NFT games and projects such as OpenSea, Upshot, Aavegotchi, Zed Run, Skyweaver by Horizon Games, Decentraland, Megacryptopolis, Neon District, Cometh, and Decentral Games.
