“I have signed a contract with Siheung City. I will play for one year. If I play well, I will get an extension,” Khoi said.

The K3 League is an amateur football competition in South Korea. Created in 2007, it is considered a fourth-tier competition in South Korean football.

Siheung City finished second last season behind Jungnang Chorus Mustang FC.

“This will be a very meaningful and interesting trip. I will learn more and hone my skills before returning home,” Khôi said.

Khoi, a Thai Binh native who played for Dak Lak in the Naitonal First Division Football Tournament, will leave for South Korea next month.

Khôi was called to the national U22 and U23 teams under the guidance of coach Hoang Van Phuc and Toshiya Miura. — VNS
