Facing Toray Arrows in Round 8 of the Japan Volleyball League, Gunma Green Wings played with remarkable energy and confidence. Dominating their opponents, the team in green took a commanding 2-set lead.

Early in the third set, star attacker Tran Thi Thanh Thuy was subbed out for rest, which significantly impacted Gunma's momentum. This opened the door for Toray Arrows to reduce the set deficit to 1-2.

Returning to the court in the fourth set, Thanh Thuy quickly helped her team regain control. With her presence, Gunma Green Wings secured the final set, sealing a 3-1 victory (25-16, 25-22, 28-30, 25-19). This marked the team’s 10th win of the season.

In another key match, Bich Thuy’s team, Okayama, clinched a vital 3-1 win (25-22, 16-25, 25-22, 25-18) against Denso. Bich Thuy stood out with a commanding performance, scoring several decisive points that contributed to the team’s success.

Both Thanh Thuy and Bich Thuy had standout outings in this round of the Japanese league. Thanh Thuy contributed 17 points, while Bich Thuy, playing as a middle blocker, added an impressive 12 points.

According to plans, both players will return to Vietnam in early December to join the national women's volleyball team in preparation for the 33rd Southeast Asian Games in Thailand.
