Vietnamese female wrestlers are seeking more berths to compete in the Rio 2016 Olympic Games via the last Olympic qualifier that took place in Istanbul, Turkey, yesterday.

Kieu Thi Ly, who won gold medal at the Asian Youth Wrestling Championships last year, will compete in the women’s 51kg event, and 2013 Southeast Asian Games gold medallist Pham Thi Loan plays in the women’s 55kg category.

So far female wrestlers Nguyen Thi Lua and Vu Thi Hang have qualified for the Olympics in August.

The event will last until tomorrow.
