The trailer of the upcoming television series Living with Mother-in-law, which was released on March 21, has attracted a record-breaking 7.3 million views on its Facebook fan page.

The trailer attracted nearly 7.3 million views and has been shared 89,000 times on Facebook after just ten days after release. 

This is the first time that a trailer for a TV series made in Viet Nam has got so many views; it was also shared more than 89,000 times on Facebook.

The series focuses on one of the thorniest issues in marriages in Viet Nam - living with the in-laws. 

As in many other Asian countries, it’s common for young married couples to live with the husband’s parents.

The eight-minute trailer shows some of the most awkward and bizarre situations that arise from the mother-in-law-daughter-in-law conflicts that nearly destroy the couple’s marriage.

Living with Mother-in-law will be on air every Thursday and Friday starting April 6 on VTV1.
