Vietnam suffered their second defeat at the Asian Senior Men’s Volleyball Championship on Tuesday in Surabaya, Indonesia.

The team lost 13-25, 19-25, 18-25 against defending champions Japan in Group C.
In the first match on Monday, Vietnam lost to South Korea, who have now beat Sri Lanka 25-15, 25-20, 25-20 in another group match.
Today, Vietnam will play Sri Lanka, while Japan will face South Korea.
In other matches on Tuesday, Iran won 25-23, 25-22, 25-14 against Pakistan; Qatar beat Saudi Arabia 25-23, 25-21, 25-21; and Chinese Taipei crushed Iraq 24-26, 21-25, 22-25.
Only Australia and Kazakhstan struggled to win. Australia came from behind to defeat Thailand 19-25, 26-28, 25-19, 25-14, 15-11; and Kazakhstan fought back to beat the hosts 23-25, 27-25, 25-21, 25-21, 15-13.
