Vietnamese weightlifters will participate in a training course in the United States, starting next month.

Athletes Thach Kim Tuan, Tran Le Quoc Toan and Nguyen Tran Anh Tuan and his coach Huynh Huu Chi will train for a short period, as part of their plan to prepare for the upcoming Olympics in Brazil.

Tuan, who won a bronze medal in the men's 56kg category in last year's world championships, will fly directly to Rio de Janeiro after completing his training.

He is one of three Vietnamese weightlifters to compete at the summer Olympics.
