Vietnam’s women’s football team moved up one place from No 33 to 32 in the world ranking for the second quarter of 2017.

The team maintained seventh place in Asia and second in Southeast Asia with 1,644 points, ranking behind Thailand, who are world No. 29.

In an outstanding performance, Viet Nam sailed through the qualifying round to earn a ticket to compete in the final round of the Asian Cup 2018 in Jordan.

At present, Viet Nam team are training in the northern province of Quảng Ninh to prepare for the Southeast Asian Games to be held in Malaysia in August.
