Eight teams will participate in this year’s edition of the VTV9-Binh Dien International Women’s Volleyball Tournament, to be held from April 22 to 30 in Tay Ninh Province.

Vietinbank players enjoy their winning in the final of the VTV9-Binh Dien International Women’s Volleyball Tournament last year. 

While three of the teams are local, five are foreign clubs from China, Thailand, North Korea and Kazakhstan’s U23 squad.

The teams are divided into two groups and will compete in a round robin format. 

The best two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals. The winner will grab US$15,000.

All matches will be aired live on VTV5, VTV9, Thể thao TV, HTV The Thao and Tay Ninh Television.

Last year, Vietinbank Club won the title after beating Chinese Jiangsu Club 3-1 in the final match.

VTV-Binh Dien Long An took the third place after winning 3-1 over LienVietPostBank.
