From November 8, sports lovers in Viet Nam will be able to watch the AFF Suzuki Cup 2018 on sports channels including VTC3, VOV2, VOVGT, online newspaper VOV.VN, and VTC News.

The AFF Suzuki Cup 2018 will take place from November 8 to December 15 with 26 matches among 10 teams. The Vietnamese national men’s football team are in Group A together with fellow South East Asian teams Malaysia, Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos.

This year, the AFF Suzuki Cup will feature a new playing format, with both home and away ties.

Viet Nam will face bordering country Laos in their first match on November 8. The country’s second match will be against Malaysia on November 16 at My Dinh Stadium. A huge turn out for their first game is expected.

Four days later, on November 20, the national team will play Myanmar.

The champions will be awarded a whopping US$200,000. The runners-up will be given $75,000. Two third-prize winning teams will be handed $50,000 each. — VNS
