"After a period of negotiation, Vietnam Television and the Viettel Military Industry and Telecommunications Group (Viettel) have reached a cooperation agreement to broadcast live all matches of the 2024 European Football Championship (UEFA EURO 2024) on VTV channels," VTV announced.

According to this announcement, VTV will broadcast all matches and related programs for UEFA EURO 2024 on its channels and will transmit them via infrastructures with rebroadcast agreements, including terrestrial, cable, satellite, and OTT (VTVgo application) in Vietnam.

VTV will broadcast all 51 matches of UEFA EURO 2024 live, along with commentary programs before, during, and after the matches.

In addition, VTV will organize special programs such as the Opening Ceremony, Closing Ceremony, and other engaging segments like "EURO 2024 Diary" and "EURO 2024 Colors."

The broadcasting schedule will include:

- Matches at 8:00 p.m. to be broadcast live on VTV5 and VTV Can Tho channels.

- Matches at 11:00 p.m. to be broadcast live on VTV2 and VTV5 channels (with two matches simultaneously on June 25 and 26).

- Matches at 2:00 a.m. to be broadcast live on VTV3 and VTV2 channels (with simultaneous matches).

To prepare for the broadcast of UEFA EURO 2024 matches, VTV has made comprehensive content and technical plans and has organized two teams of reporters to be present in Germany from June 11.

The acquisition of EURO 2024 broadcasting rights by VTV is excellent news for football fans, as audiences are accustomed to watching major tournaments on this station's channels.

Viettel Telecom Corporation (Viettel Telecom), with its TV360 media platform, also holds the copyright for the EURO 2024, exclusively owning all broadcasting and communication rights for the tournament across all television infrastructures and social networks within Vietnam.
