White storks shadowing Dong Thap Muoi fields

Dong Thap Muoi is a low-lying area covering parts of Long An, Tien Giang and Dong Thap provinces in the Mekong Delta.

Recently, when local farmers were preparing for the winter-spring rice crop, they witnessed thousands of white storks flying to feed themselves on the vast rice fields.

The view of white storks hovering on the rice fields with farmers working beneath is so poetic and peaceful.
