Laos: The Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the President, National Assembly, Government, and the Central Committee of the Lao Front for National Construction extended congratulations to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the President, National Assembly, Government, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

In their messages, the Lao leaders recalled that 80 years ago, under the wise and brilliant leadership of the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam, the Vietnamese people launched a revolutionary struggle against colonialism with immense courage, unwavering determination, and great sacrifices over decades to gain independence in 1945.

Vietnam continued to resist imperialism, combining national unity with the strength of the times and international support, fueled by the passionate aspiration of the great President Ho Chi Minh, who proclaimed: "Nothing is more precious than independence and freedom."

The Lao leadership warmly congratulated Vietnam, affirming that its victories serve as invaluable lessons and strong encouragement for Laos in its own national defense and development efforts.

They expressed confidence that Vietnam would continue to achieve even greater accomplishments.

The Lao leaders voiced pride in the special bond and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, States, and peoples - founded by President Ho Chi Minh, President Kaysone Phomvihane, and President Souphanouvong - and forged through decades of revolutionary struggle. This relationship has become an invaluable shared legacy and enduring principle, ensuring the stability and growth of both nations, and a decisive factor in their successes.

They extended their heartfelt gratitude to the Party, State, and people of Vietnam for their longstanding, valuable, timely, and effective support.

China: General Secretary and President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory message to General Secretary To Lam and President Luong Cuong; Premier Li Qiang sent greetings to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Zhao Leji sent greetings to National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man.

In their messages, Chinese leaders commended Vietnam's achievements, including political and social stability, rapid economic growth, continuous improvement in living standards, and rising regional and international influence.

They expressed confidence that under the strong leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Vietnam would firmly advance on the path of socialism suited to its national conditions, successfully organize the 14th National Congress, and strive towards its two centennial goals marking the Party’s and the nation’s founding.

Regarding China-Vietnam relations, the leaders noted that over the past 75 years since diplomatic ties were established, the traditional friendship of “comrades and brothers” built and nurtured by previous generations has grown ever stronger.

China regards Vietnam as a top priority in its neighborhood diplomacy and expressed willingness to use the 75th anniversary of diplomatic ties and the Year of People-to-People Exchanges as an opportunity to enhance friendship and cooperation.

Cambodia: King Norodom Sihamoni; Cambodian People's Party (CPP) Chairman and Senate President Hun Sen; National Assembly Chair Khuon Sudary; and Prime Minister Hun Manet sent congratulatory letters to General Secretary To Lam, President Luong Cuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man.

The Cambodian leaders admired Vietnam’s rapid and comprehensive development, as well as its growing role and position in the region and globally.

They described the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day as a historic milestone reflecting the strength and unity of the Vietnamese people in building a prosperous, modern, and resilient nation. Cambodia expressed strong belief that, under the wise leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam led by General Secretary To Lam, Vietnam would realize its vision of becoming a high-income country by 2045.

Cambodian leaders also reaffirmed the deep value they place on the long-standing, traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries, which they vowed to continue strengthening for the benefit of both peoples and for peace, stability, cooperation, and development in the region and the world.

Cuba: First Secretary and President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez sent greetings to General Secretary To Lam and President Luong Cuong.

The establishment of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam 80 years ago, precursor to today’s Socialist Republic of Vietnam, was hailed as a pivotal moment in history, representing the dreams of a prosperous, peaceful, and developed nation.

President Díaz-Canel affirmed that Vietnam’s victories against colonialism and imperialism, as well as its ongoing renewal process, continue to inspire nations striving for independence and freedom.

Cuba reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the traditional, close friendship between the two peoples - a bond nurtured by President Ho Chi Minh and Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro.

Russia: President Vladimir Putin sent a message to General Secretary To Lam and President Luong Cuong. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin sent greetings to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, and Federation Council Chair Valentina Matviyenko and State Duma Chair Vyacheslav Volodin sent congratulations to National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man.

Russian leaders warmly congratulated Vietnam’s Party and people on the occasion, praising the country's remarkable achievements over the past 80 years and its confident strides in socioeconomic progress and growing global reputation.

They affirmed the positive development of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and joint efforts on regional and international issues, based on mutual respect and shared interests.

Dmitry Medvedev, Chairman of the United Russia Party, and Gennady Zyuganov, Chairman of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, also sent congratulations to General Secretary To Lam.

North Korea: Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers’ Party and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission, sent a message to General Secretary To Lam and President Luong Cuong. Prime Minister Pak Thae Song sent greetings to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

North Korean leaders congratulated Vietnam’s Party, Government, and people, expressing hopes for greater success in building a socialist state. They expressed strong confidence in the continued development of the traditional friendship between the two Parties and nations in line with their shared socialist ideals and mutual interests.

India: President Droupadi Murmu sent congratulations to President Luong Cuong, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent messages to General Secretary To Lam and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

Indian leaders expressed admiration for the Vietnamese people’s courage and resilience in national defense and development. They affirmed that the upgrading of India-Vietnam relations to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership reflects a deep-rooted bond, mutual trust, and shared values.

India views its partnership with Vietnam as a key pillar in its “Act East” policy and new global strategy, reaffirming its commitment to expanding cooperation for mutual benefit.

The General Secretary of the Communist Party of India (CPI) also sent congratulations to the Communist Party of Vietnam’s Central Committee.

Mongolia: President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh sent congratulations to President Luong Cuong, Prime Minister Luvsannamsrain Oyun-Erdene sent a message to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, and Parliament Speaker Dashzegve Amarbayasgalan sent greetings to National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man.

Mongolian leaders applauded Vietnam’s remarkable achievements over the past 80 years and expressed confidence that, under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the country would reach even greater heights and continue to enhance its international stature.
