Families are busy with decorating their houses to welcome the God of Rice from their fields to the houses. In the early morning, villagers preparing offerings for the God

After storing rice in their granaries, villagers prepared offerings to the God, including wine, rice, meat, and bamboo poles containing water.

The village’s head is the first person to enter the communal house to prepare for the ritual alone. Then villagers arranged the offerings to start the harvest festival.

After praying for health and prosperity, the villagers together taste newly-harvested rice, drink wine, and join mass dancing and gong performances.
