In order to preserve and promote the cultural identity of ethnic minorities, on the morning of March 26, at the Hall of the People's Committee of Krong No commune, Dak Lak province, the Youth Union and the People's Committee of Krong No commune held the launching ceremony of the Young Gongs Club of Krong No commune.

The club has a 5-member management board and 15 members who are members of the Youth Union of Krong No commune.

The club will organize regular activities once a week, with the purpose of introducing the dances and gong playing skills of the M'nong Gar people to young people in the commune, thereby contributing to preserving and promoting the unique cultural features of the M'nong Gar people, which are at risk of being lost.

The establishment of the gong club is also expected to create a favorable environment for the development, exchange of experience in labor, production, and daily life; develop a new generation of young artisans in preserving and promoting the heritage of gong cultural space, said Mr. Y YaLy Ro Yam, a member of the Young Gong Club of Krong No commune.

The club was established on the occasion of the 92nd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931-March 26, 2023).

This is an activity that has practical significance in carrying out the work of the youth union and the youth movement of the Krong No commune and aims to preserve the gong cultural values, contributing to arousing passion and pride of the young generation of the commune in preserving gong culture for future generations.
