The festival is to be held at the National Cinema in Hanoi from June 21 to 30, Dong Ba Cinema in Hue from June 25 to 29, the General Science Library in Danang from June 26 to 30, and Cinestar Hai Ba Trung in Ho Chi Minh City from June 19 to 24.
A total of six German movies are to be screened, including “Jim Button and Luke the Locomotive Driver”, “Matti and Sami and the three biggest mistakes of the universe”, “Simple”, “Supa Modo”, “My devil-friend Lilith”, and “Little Witch”.
The theme of each of the movies involves young people who possess strong characteristics and are both adventurous and full of imagination.
The film screenings in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi will be attended by Michael Harbauer, the festival’s director, Sonja Lore Gabriele Ewers, producer of “How to be really bad”, Daniela Elisabeth Tolkien, the casting director for “The Little Witch”, and Markus Friedrich Gollerthe, director of “Simple”.
During the events audience members will have the opportunity to interact with the visiting directors and producer. VOV
