
At the finals of the QingYin Award - Youth Music Festival 2025, held in early August at Zhejiang Conservatory of Music in Hangzhou, China, young Vietnamese pianist Pham Tuan Khoi was awarded the Thanh Am Prize – the highest Special Award in the Piano Category, Teen Group A.
The QingYin Award - Youth Music Festival is a prestigious international competition that celebrates and recognizes young musical talent from around the world.
Representing Vietnam in the 2025 international finals, a delegation of 48 students competed against more than 1,000 participants from 30 countries and territories. The Vietnamese team achieved remarkable results, earning seven Special Awards, eight Gold Medals, nine Silver Medals, and two Bronze Medals.
These outstanding accomplishments highlight the growing expertise and global readiness of Vietnam’s young musicians on the international stage.
Among them, Pham Tuan Khoi stood out for his captivating performance, combining emotional depth, strong technical execution, and confident stage presence. He ultimately earned the competition's highest honor in his category.
Commenting on this achievement, Nguyen Le Thuyen Ha, President of QingYin Award Vietnam, said: “Pham Tuan Khoi exemplifies youthful passion, technical brilliance, and stage maturity. His success is not only a personal triumph but also a proud moment that reinforces Vietnam’s musical stature on the international map.”
Having made such a strong impression on this global stage, Tuan Khoi is expected to continue developing his talent and artistic vision, with hopes of achieving even greater success in the future.
The QingYin Award - Youth Music Festival is organized by the International Arts Education Association and the Thanh Am Prize Committee (China), under the patronage of Zhejiang Conservatory of Music and the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Belgium).
More than just a competition, the QingYin Award serves as a bridge between young artists and international conservatories, offering a platform for artistic exchange and performance on the world stage.
