In recent years, Youth Union organizations nationwide, including that of the Ministry of Ethnic and Religious Affairs, have affirmed their important role in the cause of national construction and defense, as well as in educating and nurturing younger generations, achieving many positive outcomes.

The year 2025 marked a period of significant transition for Youth Union work and youth movements within the Ministry. As a newly established body undergoing organizational consolidation, the Ministry has faced increasingly demanding political tasks and a broad scope of work closely tied to ethnic minority and mountainous regions, as well as religious affairs across the country.

In that context, the Ministry’s Youth Union has demonstrated the proactive spirit, responsibility, and creativity of young people, gradually affirming its role as a core and reliable force. It has contributed alongside Party committees and Ministry leaders to effectively fulfill assigned political tasks.

The Youth Union has continued to leave its mark through a series of meaningful activities during Youth Month 2026. These include professional training programs, “return to the roots” journeys oriented toward the future, and community-focused initiatives such as gift-giving and the construction of meaningful projects in Phu Tho province.

Dinh Thi Phuc, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Ethnic and Religious Affairs, affirmed that the proud tradition of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union serves as both a source of pride and a driving force for young members to strive, grow, and contribute.

On behalf of the Executive Committee and Standing Committee, she called on all youth members within the Ministry to uphold their pioneering and volunteer spirit, ready to overcome challenges and continue writing the Union’s proud history. She urged them to live meaningfully and responsibly toward themselves, their families, and society, in a way that honors the heroic traditions of previous generations.

On this occasion, the Ministry’s Youth Union also organized its first-quarter thematic session under the theme “Promoting the role of youth members in the current international context.”
