On May 13, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police said authorities were consolidating documents and clarifying the responsibilities of related individuals and organizations for handling in accordance with the law.
The case emerged following a surprise inspection conducted on the morning of May 12.
The Immigration Management Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police coordinated with the Administrative Management Police Department for Social Order, Nam Nha Trang Ward Police, and other related agencies to inspect immigration, residency, and labor activities involving foreigners at the Princess store, a branch of Global Trading Co., Ltd., located on Le Hong Phong Street.
At the time of the inspection, authorities found 20 foreign nationals working in various sections of the store.

According to a rapid verification conducted through the provincial police database system, all 20 foreign nationals showed signs of working without authorization from competent authorities.
Authorities also determined that the individuals appeared to be operating outside the purposes and programs registered when applying for visas or temporary residence cards.
Law enforcement agencies have requested the legal representatives of the branch of Global Trading Co., Ltd., Green Group Travel, and related units to temporarily suspend the use of the foreign workers while the investigation continues.
The latest case comes after another high-profile incident in Khanh Hoa involving foreign nationals.
Previously, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police prosecuted and detained three Chinese nationals for allegedly violating regulations on the protection of endangered, rare, and precious animals after authorities uncovered an illegal rhinoceros horn trading operation in Nha Trang.
