Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on November 22 attended the 18 th ASEAN-Japan Summit, the 17th ASEAN-Republic of Korea (RoK) Summit and the seventh ASEAN-UN Summit.

PM Nguyen Tan Dung highlighted that the peace, stability, security, safety and freedom of navigation and aviation in the East Sea, the common concern of ASEAN, the region and the world, is under serious threat.

 ASEAN leaders convened their 23rd summit in Brunei on October 9 to accelerate the building of a united community by 2015, solve pending issues, and set orientations for the grouping beyond 2015.
