AS, a joint stock company, was established in 2007, specializing in designing and executing many well known industrial works, habor and transport projects. Its representative is Ho Dai Minh.

The company’s website shows that AS has implemented many large works in many cities and provinces, including Hon Thom Phu Quoc cable car tower, Nu Hoang cable car tower under Dai Duong Ha Long Park project. It was also the contractor for the Vinh Tan 4 Binh Thuan Power Plant, Xuan Thanh Ha Nam cement plant, and three animal feed factories owned by a joint stock company in Hai Duong, Binh Dinh and Binh Duong.

Others implemented by AS include Nikko Sai Gon Hotel, Thang Long cement grinding station, preliminary design of Proconco animal feed manufacturing plant.

Hon Thom Phu Quoc cable car tower is an important part of Hon Thom cable car system, the longest in the world with 7,900 meters in length, connecting An Thoi Town with Hon Roi, Hon Dua and Hon Thom islands. The system comprises 2 stations, 6 cable towers, of which the biggest one, T4, has the height of 174 meters.

Nu Hoang cable car tower under Dai Duong Ha Long Park project (kicked off in 2014) is also a large-scale work which set a Guinness record. This is the cable car system with the tower at the highest level above ground in the world (the first cable tower is 188.88 meters high. This is the first cable car system on Ha Long Bay in Quang Ninh, which connects Bai Chay Beach to Ba Deo Mount.

AS also develops projects on warehouses, animal and aquaculture feed factories in accordance with US and European standards. It designs habors for 50,000-100,000 ton ships, executes chimneys, complex shaped concrete structures and bridge piers.

The leadership of the company includes Nguyen Quoc Toan (member of the board of directors, CEO), Ho Sy Hiep (member of the board of directors) and Ngo Minh Duc (deputy director).

Regarding Ho Dai Dung, on July 19, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang signed Decision No 697 on approving the dismissal of Dung as deputy chair of PhuTho province in the 2021-2026 tenure.

Prior to that, Dung asked for permission to resign from all of his posts in the province’s leadership.

The Phu Tho People’s Council also dismissed Dung from the post of member of the People’s Council.

Ho Dai Dung was born in Nam Dan district in Nghe An province. He has a bachelor’s degree. He was director of the Phu Tho Department of Planning and Investment before being appointed to the post of deputy chair of Phu Tho province.
